I love this piece by Konstantin Dimopoulos! The Blue Trees is a social art project using visual disruption to create environmental statements. The bold and “unnatural” transformation illustrates how trees possess magical qualities and “sacredness.” Thus, attention is drawn towards the trees allowing viewers to question and wonder about their nature.
Stunning isn’t it? But don’t worry, the pigments are environmentally safe and will wash off with time. Read more about his art statement here.
